Short Biography

Atul Bhardwaj heads the Corporate and Taxation practice areas of the Firm. Besides, he is responsible for Tax Litigation practice as well.

Atul Bhardwaj, after completing his Bachelor in Commerce did bachelor in law in 2018 and he was enrolled with the Bar council of Delhi in 2019 and presently is a Corporate Tax Lawyer as well as expert in managing and handling Accounts & GST with over 5 years’ professional experience in Corporate & Commercial laws, Taxation, Legal &Tax Due Diligence etc.

Atul Bhardwaj has extensive experience of working on Transactions/Corporate Structuring, structuring, negotiation and drafting of various types of Commercial Contracts/Agreements including commercial and Tax litigation matters etc for various large transnational and Indian clients. He has advised clients from various sectors like -Private Equity; Manufacturing; FMCG; Professional Services; Print, Electronic & Digital Media; Logistics and IT etc

Besides, Atul Bhardwaj also has extensive experience of working on Direct and indirect tax nationally taxation advisory projects, litigation support and tax reviews/due diligence for various large multinational and Indian clients. He has top quality experience of appearances before tax adjudication and appellate authorities including ITAT, CESTAT and High Court and Supreme Court.

During years 2017-22, Atul Bhardwaj lead an advisory team of lawyers (from law firm B.K. Kansal) which advised various clients on various aspects of undertaking reforms in Indian corporate and Tax laws and laws regarding closing of business in India which has now culminated in new Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code.

During the advisory assignment, conducted comprehensive study of National best practices, prepared concept notes, conducted presentations before the Committee in formulating the overall Conceptual Framework.
